TIAL PARENTAL LEAVE TO BE ENJOYED BY A PROGENITOR IN THE CASE OF IMPOSSIBILITY OF THE OTHER

� Concept

Justified absence from work of any of the progenitors in the case of mental or physical incapacity or death of the progenitor who is enjoying the leave

� Regime

� Duration of the initial parental leave or of the remaining period, being always ensured a minimum duration of 30 days leave

� In the case of death or mental or physical incapacity of a mother who is not employed, in the 120 days after the birth the public employee father is entitled to a leave with a duration of the initial parental leave or of the remaining period, a minimum duration of 30m days leave is always ensured

� Formalities

� Inform the public employer, as soon as possible and according to the situation

� Make the delivery of the medical certificate attesting it or death certificate

� Where appropriate, declare the leave period already enjoyed
