Justified absence of the public employee for the reason of marriage

� Scope

The public employee may be absent for 15 consecutive days

� Formalities

� Communication to the public employer with, at least, 5 days in advance

� Submission of a supporting document, whenever so requested by the public employer, within 15 days of the communication
